Ceramic Coatings are the most durable and longest lasting form of protection for the various surfaces of your vehicle. Coatings allow for extreme ease of maintenance, providing long-term value and protection against damaging elements such as the sun’s harsh UV rays, bird droppings, dirt, tar, etc. Coatings are even available for non-painted surfaces such as leather, fabric, plastic and glass.
Ceramic Coatings are carefully applied to your vehicle inch-by-inch. They bond to the clear coat creating a durable protective barrier making the surface extremely glossy, smooth and hydrophobic. Once cured, the coatings become a hard sacrificial barrier against the elements, providing the ultimate protection.
In 1913, the first automobile rolled off an assembly line and since then, car owners and automotive detailers have been trying to find a way to uphold that new car (or truck) shine.
There have been some successful products like carnauba waxes and paint sealants that extend the shine, but wax builds up on the paint over time and will eventually reach a point of diminishing returns. Paint sealants too are effective, but they only provide short-term protection and a lot of maintenance to get a few months of protection from them.
It was the aerospace industry that developed a permanent solution.
Ceramic coatings were adapted for the automotive market after the aerospace industry, using nanoparticle technology, developed them to prevent the build-up of dirt and contaminants on the exterior skin of aircraft in flight, significant enough to affect “drag”, which causes the aircraft to use more fuel.
Ceramic coatings are not topical like waxes and sealants, which can be wiped off, washed off and will wear off over a period of weeks in the case of wax, and months for most sealants.
Exterior automotive coatings chemically bond with your vehicle’s clear coat so they become one surface. Ceramic coatings cannot be washed or wiped off and they don’t wear off, at least for a long time.
How long they last and how durable they are, depends on the many applications available - and your budget.
Coatings prevent your vehicle from getting as dirty, cutting down on the need to have it washed, and in many cases, eliminates the need for waxing completely.
Once a vehicle has been paint corrected to remove all flaws in the original clear coat, a ceramic coating seals in that flawless shine for anywhere from 18 months to seven years, depending on the application(s). Some coatings can be stacked to increase durability against anything the road throws at it.
Available not just for protecting paint surfaces, protective coatings are made to treat fabrics, carpeting, leather and microsuede; metals, wood, glass, hard plastics, and rubber so that every surface of an automobile can be coated and protected.
These protective coating products use the same nanotechnology as exterior coatings, bonding to the surface to form a hard wearing ceramic and composite lacquer layer on the surface of the material. That layer remains supple, but it repels dirt and forces liquid to bead-up on the surface so it can be swiped away, rather than be absorbed by the fibers of the surface, especially on carpets, mats, and fabric seats.

*Note - Since ceramic coatings seal anything on the surface when applied, a complete automotive detailing is required, so the coating is applied on the cleanest surface as possible. Any flaws that cannot be removed through detailing may require a paint correction so the finish is as close to flawless as possible.
Wax is a natural derived from the carnauba plant. It will add great gloss to your car’s paint, but since it’s a natural material, it will not withstand the heat of the sun. As a result, waxes general last only 6-8 weeks. We do not use wax except by special request.
